Ezra Miller seeks treatment for ‘complex mental health issues’

Actor Ezra Miller said they are seeking treatment for “complex mental health issues” following multiple run-ins with the law and allegations of abuse over the past two years.

The “Flash” star, who is non-binary and uses the pronouns they/they, made a statement to NBC News in her first comments following disturbing incidents this year that included a larceny charge in Vermont and an arrest by a spokeswoman from Hawaii.

“Having recently gone through a period of intense crisis, I now understand that I suffer from complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment,” Miller said in the statement, following the past behavior.

I undertake to do the necessary work. to return to a healthy, safe and productive phase of my life. Miller, 29, was charged with a burglary earlier this month, in the latest of multiple legal troubles for the Fantastic Beasts star.

Authorities accused her of stealing several bottles of alcohol from a home in Stamford, Vermont when no one was home.

The moment they were ordered to appear for the arraignment on September 26, police said. This incident followed an arrest in Hawaii earlier this year.

Miller was arrested in March on charges of disorderly conduct and harassment at a Hilo bar after allegedly shouting obscenities at patrons singing karaoke and grabbing a microphone from a woman who was singing, police said.

The harassment charge was later dismissed and Miller pleaded no appeal to a disorderly conduct charge, paying a $500 fine and $30 in court costs. Kind faced a “significant likelihood of imminent threat of bullying”. The warrant contains no charges against Miller.

Miller had not commented on any of the incidents as of Monday’s statement through his spokesman. Miller is the star of “The Flash,” a $200 million film that Warner Bros. Discovery chief David Zaslav said earlier this month was on 23 allegations against Miller
