She Hulk Season 1 storyline

Jennifer Walters, cousin of Bruce Banner (Hulk), is the young and somewhat shy daughter of Los Angeles County Sheriff William Morris Walters and Elaine (née Banner) Walters (who died in a car accident, when Jennifer was 17 years old).

Agents of Nicholas Trask, a crime boss who had crossed her father’s paths, shot and seriously injured her the day Banner visited to tell her about his transformation into the Hulk.

With no other donors available with her blood type, Banner provided with her own blood for a transfusion as they already had the same blood type and DNA, her gamma irradiated blood combined with her anger turned Jennifer into green skinned She-Hulk when gangsters tried to finish off her in the She-Hulk.

She then used her new powers to knock down Trask, who was killed when the piercing device he was riding malfunctioned, sending him to the center of the earth. As the She-Hulk, Jennifer possessed similar powers to her cousin, albeit at a reduced level of.

She also had a less monstrous and more Amazonian appearance. Initially, the transformation into her She-Hulk form (like Bruce Banner’s) was induced by anger.

Like his cousin Bruce, his counterpart, the Leader, Doc Samson, and most other people who have been mutated by gamma radiation over the years, his mutant form was originally explained as being shaped by his subconscious desire to become the ideal woman resemble She eventually gains control of her transformations when Michael Morbius cures her of a deadly blood disease.

As a criminal defense attorney, she defended Morbius in his trial for his vampire murders and was able to reduce the sentence to involuntary manslaughter given his state of health.

Ultimately, Jennifer decides to keep her She-Hulk form permanent, preferring the freedom, confidence, and assertiveness it gave her to her more shy and fragile “normal” form. After his brief solo career, he joined the Avengers.

This led to her being transported to Battleworld from the afterlife and becoming involved in the Secret Wars, most notably in sparking her longstanding rivalry with the newly empowered Titania.

After the heroes returned to Earth, temporarily replaced The Thing (who, after being repeatedly looted during the event, chose to stay on Battleworld for some time to search for his soul) as a member of the Four.

While with the Fantastic Four, She-Hulk met Wyatt Wingfoot and began a romance with him. One day he had to prevent a radiation leak on a crashed S.Helicarrier.

This exposure to radiation had a drastic effect on Jennifer: she was unable to transform back into her original human form. However, this was a nice turn of events for her as she preferred being She-Hulk and much later Leonard Samson and Reed Richards revealed that the block was purely psychological.

Shortly thereafter, he appeared before the Supreme Court, where he once again fought Titania.

The CGI was actually really good and I love the fourth wall breaks and her great sense of humor! She reminds me a little of Deadpool in that way. The way they explained how she got her powers and how she trained with Smart Hulk was done perfectly, Can’t wait for the next episode!
