Shiv Sangram chief Vinayak Mete Accident
On Sunday 14 august, Shiv Sangram chief Vinayak Mete died because of an car accident on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway, near Khopoli. Shiv sangram was in an SUV car while returning from Pune and that incident happened. He was admitted to the MGM Hospital in Kamothe. According to the highway police, Mete’s driver was trying to overtake a truck when the accident took place.
BJP MLA Bharati Lavhekar, a detailed aide of mete, said that he was coming back to city for a gathering and was later expected to travel to his town Beed to attend the independence day rally.
PSI ganesh burkul of palaspe traffic unit informed that vinayak mete was seated beside his driver kadam, who crashed into an undientified vehicle ahead while overtaking from the right side. Cops aforesaid that the leader of the popular maratha group was at the start injured within the accident and was receiving treatment at the crucial Care Unit of MGM Hospital in Panvel wherever he later died. Who Was Shiv Sangram chief Vinayak Mete?
Vinayak Mete was an Indian politician and a leader of the Shiv Sangram party. He was elected unopposed to the Maharashtra Legislative Council on 3 June 2016. This will be a consecutive term for him. He was a member of Nationalist Congress Party until 2014. He was candidate from Bharatiya Janata Party in 2014 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election from Beed (Vidhan Sabha constituency) but lost to Jaydutt Kshirsagar of Nationalist Congress Party.
