Tanya Pardazi fell to her death during a solo dive in Toronto she was only 21 years old.
Friends and family are mourning the loss of Tanya Pardazi, a 21-year-old Canadian TikTok influencer who passed away this week.
Pardazi died in a skydiving accident at Skydive Toronto on the night of August 27th. According to a public statement from the organization, Parzai was a “welcome addition to the skydiving community” who dived as a “lonely student.” Skydive Toronto said in a statement they are working with local police. South Simcoe Police said in a public statement that Pardazi were pronounced dead at a local hospital.
Her friend Melody Ozgoli confirmed Pardazi’s passing and the manner of death in a statement emailed TODAY. “She was the smartest girl with the smartest mind,” Ozgoli told TODAY. “We all remember her not only for her mesmerizing beauty but also for her incredible mind and insight.”
“My beautiful Tanya,” Ozgoli wrote in the caption of his Instagram post.
“I have no words right now. All I can say is that I will miss you forever. “According to her social media, Pardazi was a philosophy student and animator at the University of Toronto Scarborough.
She had more than 100,000 followers on TikTok, where she credited herself as “Philosatea” and posted videos on “any interesting topic (her) mother [was] tired of hearing from her. The cheerleading squad that Pardazi was on shared a photo of her posing in front of the Eiffel Tower.
“Forever part of our team and in our hearts, Tanya Pardazi was one of millions,” the organization wrote. Further tributes from Pardazi’s friends flooded social media as news of her death broke. One of Kimia Sepanlou posed as Pardazi as hers friend who hoped to remember her.
“I’m heartbroken because we never started our trip to Bali together, as we always discussed, but I also feel oddly reassured to know that you finally got your answer on how life after looks like death,” she wrote. “You were one in a million and came out like one in a million,” Sepanlou continued. “You were loved by many. You will be missed by many. Wait for me on the other side.”
