I’m a huge marvel fanboy, and hardly ever have anything bad to say to about the MCU, but this was a huge letdown. Ragnarok is easily one of my top 5 marvel films , so was very excited to see this one, but this was really really bad. It was boring as hell and none of the jokes landed for me. First time in a marvel movie I really wanted to leave or wished it would end already. Huge waste of Gorr the god butcher. And the whole Zeus and Olympus part were so cringe worthy. I don’t know how this got made. It was garbage.

Thor Love and Thunder movie Storyline
The god-killing Necrosword weapon calls to Gorr, leading him to Rapu’s lush realm. Gorr is granted the ability to manipulate shadows and produce monsters, but is cursed with impending death and corrupted by the sword’s influence. Thor parts ways with the Guardians of the Galaxy and finds an injured Sif, who warns that Gorr’s next target is New Asgard. Thor’s ex-girlfriend, has been diagnosed with stage four terminal cancer. Thor arrives in New Asgard just as Gorr’s attack begins. Thor is surprised to find Foster wielding Mjolnir, but nevertheless teams up with her, Valkyrie, and Korg to fight Gorr. Thor decides to form an army of Gods so they travel to Omnipotence City, a realm that is home to many gods.
The leader of the gods, Zeus orders the group’s capture to prevent them from exposing the City’s location to Gorr, and in the ensuing fight Korg’s body is destroyed, though his face remains alive. Thor and Foster rekindle their romantic relationship and Foster reveals her illness. When Foster senses that Gorr is about to kill Thor, she joins the battle with Mjolnir to save him. As Gorr dies from the curse, he requests Thor to take care of Love.
